How does the 100-day guarantee work?
The guarantee covers the GloveBag, on its own and in every set. If it doesn’t win you over within 100 days of delivery, email us at support@glovebag.de with your order number. Send it back, even used and washed, and you get your money back. GloveWash, GloveGrip and gloveglu come with the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal.
Do goalkeeper gloves get ruined in the washing machine?
Yes. Without the protective GloveBag, the drum grinds down the latex on your gloves during the spin cycle – until it looks like Swiss cheese. Inside the GloveBag, more than 1,000 microfibre fingers clean super gently and protect the latex while the dirt gets rinsed out properly.
Is hand washing more thorough than machine washing?
No. Compared to machine washing without a GloveBag, hand washing used to be the best compromise for keeping your grip as long as possible. With a goalkeeper glove cleaner it’s gentler on the latex, but it doesn’t reliably rinse out the dirt. That’s why the latex turns slightly yellow over time.
Does regular detergent damage the latex?
Yes. Regular detergents almost always contain harsh chemicals like bleach, alcohol or perfume that attack the latex on your gloves. The result: dry, brittle latex.
Which detergent should I use?
GloveWash is your best bet – developed specifically for goalkeeper gloves and machine washing. It has no harsh chemicals and cares for the delicate latex too. Fun fact: your printed sports kit loves a mild detergent as well.
How often should I wash my gloves?
After every training session or match. Even if your gloves don’t look dirty, sweat salts settle in and dry within hours into razor-sharp crystals that destroy your latex from the inside.
How long does a GloveWash last?
