CH 03 · IMPORTANT

Three rules,the ones that count.

Make sure the zipper pulls are folded down — otherwise the bag might open in the machine.

Put the GloveBag in the washing machine together with your sports kit. It saves water and gives you the best wash results.

Choose a regular wash cycle at 30 °C and a maximum of 900 rpm — no delicate cycle, no quick wash.

01 Do goalkeeper gloves get ruined in the washing machine?
Yeah. Without the protective GloveBag, the washing drum tears up your gloves' latex in the spin cycle — like Swiss cheese. Inside the GloveBag, over 1,000 microfiber fingers clean super gently and protect the latex while the dirt gets thoroughly rinsed away.
02 Is hand washing more thorough than machine washing?
No. Compared to machine washing without a GloveBag, hand washing used to be the best compromise for keeping your gloves' grip as long as possible. Hand washing with a goalkeeper glove cleaner is gentler on the foam, but it doesn't reliably flush out the dirt. Over time, this leads to a slightly yellowish discoloration of the latex.
03 Does regular detergent damage the latex?
Yes. Regular laundry detergents almost always contain aggressive chemicals like bleach, alcohol, or fragrance that damage the latex on your goalkeeper gloves. The result: brittle, dry latex.
04 Which detergent should I use?
Your best bet is GloveWash — made specifically for goalkeeper gloves and machine washing. It contains no harsh chemicals and also conditions the delicate latex. Fun Fact: Your printed sportswear will thank you for using a gentle detergent too.
05 How often should I wash my gloves?
After every training session or game. Even if your gloves don't look dirty, sweat salts settle into the material and dry within hours into razor-sharp crystals that destroy your latex from the inside.
06 How long does one GloveWash last?
800 ml is enough for at least 20 washes.
